A co-creative workshop on projection mapping, delivered as part of the “Active Protection of Cultural Heritage — Tabula Peutingeriana” project, organized by the City of Niš together with the municipalities of Svrljig, Merošina and Gadžin Han and the Regional Development Agency JUG (RRA JUG).
The program ran across six sessions (twelve modules) at the SKIP Serbian-Korean Information Access Centre in Niš, between 27 March and 14 April 2025. Participants learned the fundamentals and techniques of projection mapping and the software behind it, then gained hands-on experience creating their own content.
They developed their own creative concepts and tested them as trial projections onto a 3D-printed model of the main gate of the Niš Fortress — in preparation for the project’s closing “Festival of Light”, staged on the fortress gate in summer 2025. The aim was to connect contemporary technology with artistic expression while engaging young creators and affirming the historical significance of the monument.
